Coordinates with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime, follows shop and electrical safety procedures, and supports fleet-wide deployments and upgrades.

Maintains and repairs fleet trailers by conducting inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, welding, and component replacement. Repairs brakes, axles, lighting, suspension, flooring, doors, air systems, ABS, and electrical issues while complying with DOT and safety standards. Diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on heavy-duty diesel vehicles, trucks, equipment, and related systems. Uses diagnostic equipment and fleet maintenance software, estimates repair needs, requisitions parts, documents work, and supports other mechanics while following OSHA and company safety procedures.

Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs Class A heavy-duty trucks and fleet equipment, including CNG-powered vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance, repairs mechanical, electrical, braking, suspension, driveline, emissions, and fuel systems, and inspects CNG components. Uses diagnostic tools, documents work orders, follows safety and regulatory requirements, and supports fleet reliability in an industrial shop environment.

Monitors heavy equipment and production machinery for safe, efficient operation; performs visual inspections, reports malfunctions, operates simple equipment, and assists with cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, material handling, and site organization. Follows OSHA, MSHA, PPE, and company safety requirements while collaborating with equipment operators and maintenance teams. The role requires physical labor outdoors and flexibility for rotating 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Leads HR operations and serves as the primary advisor to executives and operational leaders. Owns end-to-end multi-entity payroll through Paylocity, including compliance, reconciliation, reporting, and controls. Oversees employee relations, investigations, benefits, leave and accommodation processes, HRIS governance, performance management, policies, workforce planning, and employment compliance. Requires fluent English and Spanish, California employment-law knowledge, and experience supporting distributed transportation or logistics workforces.

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks using Cummins and Paccar OEM diagnostic platforms. Perform electrical, emissions, sensor, aftertreatment, DEF, DPF, preventative maintenance, and overhaul work. Interpret fault codes, update ECU software, calibrate sensors, document repairs, train junior mechanics, and recommend strategies to improve fleet reliability and reduce downtime while maintaining safety standards.

Installs and services wet kits, hydraulic pumps, tanks, lines, valves, and PTO systems on Class 8 diesel trucks. Diagnoses and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, electrical, braking, and mechanical systems. Performs preventative maintenance, inspections, emergency repairs, documentation, inventory monitoring, and safety-compliant work in a heavy-duty fleet shop.

Performs commercial tire inspection, repair, replacement, mounting, balancing-related service, and fleet checks for semi-trucks and trailers. Responds to roadside and customer service calls, operates service trucks, handles wheels and tires using hand and power tools, inflates tires, replaces valves, and performs minor vehicle repairs. Requires compliance with safety regulations, physical handling of heavy tires, and completion of required screenings and certification.
