The Software Engineer will design and develop backend services for eBay's search platform, focusing on scalable, resilient systems while collaborating with teams and improving service quality.

Lead category marketing strategy and execution for assigned categories on a fixed-term contract. Build integrated marketing roadmaps across media, creative, CRM, partnerships and sponsorships, manage agency/partner relationships, provide market/competitive intelligence, report to leadership, remove execution obstacles, and manage a small team.

Lead architecture and technical strategy for eBay's core data platform. Design scalable, secure distributed data systems (streaming and batch), build reusable frameworks, drive migrations, optimize cost and reliability, mentor engineers, and enforce engineering excellence, observability, and compliance.
