Own cross-business-unit architecture for core financial products, defining domain boundaries, service contracts, and shared-system roadmaps. Lead architecture reviews, document decisions, reduce complexity, and partner with platform and engineering leaders. Use AI tools and establish responsible AI-assisted development practices. Mentor senior engineers, support hiring, and influence product, risk, and leadership stakeholders in a regulated fintech environment.

Lead a full-stack engineering team of backend and mobile engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture, design, and coding. Partner with Product and engineering teams to build features, improve business metrics, and deliver scalable services. Mentor engineers, recruit talent, guide experimentation and MVP delivery, manage changing priorities, and maintain technical excellence. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration and potentially leading high-scale payments systems.

Own and optimize Workday Payroll and Core HCM, including configuration, security, business processes, reporting, integrations, governance, and system controls. Partner with People, Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Total Rewards, and IT to ensure accurate payroll and workforce data. Lead enhancements, releases, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, automation, and AI-enabled workflow improvements while supporting workforce planning and cross-functional system strategy.
