EAH Housing Benefits Overview

Leads acquisition and early development activities for affordable multifamily housing projects. Evaluates potential sites, conducts due diligence, assesses zoning and entitlement feasibility, develops preliminary financial projections, negotiates purchase agreements, manages seller and partner relationships, and coordinates approvals through closing. Represents the organization before public agencies, community groups, lenders, developers, and industry organizations. Develops acquisition strategies, supervises staff, and supports financing and transition of acquired assets.

Supports affordable housing development and rehabilitation projects through site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, financing, design, construction, and lease-up. Responsibilities include coordinating consultants and design teams, preparing funding applications and financial analyses, managing loan closing documentation and funding draws, conducting community outreach, researching funding sources, supporting public approvals, creating proposals and presentations, and maintaining project files.

Oversees occupancy operations for a tax-credit multifamily housing property, including waitlists, applicant screening, leasing, move-ins, recertifications, interim certifications, HUD and LIHTC compliance, EIV reporting, marketing, resident relations, inspections, and administrative records. The role also supports office staff, maintains accurate documentation, responds to resident concerns, and helps train onsite personnel.
