Build and own an end-to-end drawing-parsing pipeline: ingest PDFs/CAD, perform layout analysis, detection, OCR, segmentation, extract metadata and schedules, design embedding strategies, integrate into a knowledge store, and build evaluation/ground-truth systems while partnering with engineering staff and the CTO to productize models for production use.

Embed with engineering firms to observe workflows, design and ship production front-ends, establish and own a cross-product design system, define interaction patterns for AI-native workflows (streaming, human-in-the-loop, provenance), and collaborate with the CTO on product strategy and architecture.

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering firms, building AI tools, owning the development process from problem discovery to deployment, and shaping company culture and product strategy.
