Leads renewable energy business development, facility acquisitions and divestments, power offtake origination, contracting, and portfolio growth. The Director sources opportunities, manages diligence and transaction execution, negotiates power purchase, capacity, and renewable energy credit agreements, and oversees origination and policy functions. This hands-on leader partners with strategy, ownership stakeholders, commercial teams, and a small internal team to advance value-creation initiatives across a hydropower portfolio.

Leads talent acquisition and workforce planning, including recruiting strategy, full-cycle hiring, workforce forecasting, talent pipelines, employer branding, diversity initiatives, retention and succession planning. Partners with leaders and hiring managers, analyzes workforce and market data, manages recruiting agencies and external partners, hosts recruitment events, and produces workforce metrics reports while ensuring employment-law compliance.

Provide legal support for energy generation and infrastructure projects by drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts (PPAs, EPC, O&M, interconnection, APAs, NDAs). Support M&A, joint ventures, project finance, due diligence, post-closing integration, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance (FERC, environmental, permits). Monitor regulatory developments, train teams on contract and compliance matters, and manage outside counsel to ensure efficiency and budget discipline.
