Leads the Controls Engineering function for power generation equipment and control systems. Manages engineering teams, resources, priorities, and technical execution across product lines. Oversees gas turbine and generator controls, PLC software, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, system integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation. Establishes engineering standards, drives standardization and reliability improvements, develops team capabilities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and field operations.

Leads product data management execution, including ERP and engineering-tool interfaces, engineering drawings, data packages, and engineering change requests. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, integration, quality, supply chain, accounting, digital, and external engineering teams to maintain data integrity and meet timelines. Oversees PDM engineers, training, process compliance, safety adherence, and business continuity. Requires technical engineering education, relevant PDM experience, supervisory experience, in-person attendance, travel up to 20%, and authorization to work without sponsorship.

Owns the overall success of assigned engineering product lines by coordinating engineering disciplines, manufacturing, integration teams, third-party firms, and shared services. Manages staffing, design intent, design reviews, deadlines, milestones, safety compliance, product visualization, and team development. The role requires a technical engineering degree, project management experience, design software knowledge, and turbine packaging expertise. Work is primarily in person in the Houston area with up to 20% travel and field or shop exposure.
