Develop visual world models for interactive robots using images, video, and robot interaction data. Build predictive and action-conditioned models, connect learned representations to planning and policy learning, and evaluate systems on physical robots. Own experiments spanning data collection, training, validation, and deployment while improving robustness, generalization, inference efficiency, and downstream robot performance.

Owns company-wide safety for mobile character robots across the full lifecycle, from architecture and hazard analysis through validation, certification, deployment, and operations. The role establishes safety requirements, architectures, diagnostics, degraded modes, emergency behaviors, human-robot interaction safeguards, testing, safety cases, and release gates. It also leads incident and near-miss reviews, external partner coordination, safe deployment practices, and the growth of the company’s safety function.

Own product security for connected robotic products across embedded software, SDKs, APIs, and device-to-cloud services. Design authentication, authorization, encryption, and credential management; secure provisioning, software updates, and dependencies; review architectures and code; identify and remediate vulnerabilities; integrate security checks into development and release processes; and support product security incident response.
