Coordinate and guide a robotics research portfolio by tracking objectives, hypotheses, results, risks, dependencies, and decisions. Evaluate research progress, connect work across teams, support strategic prioritization with the Chief Research Officer, establish research plans and milestones, lead reviews, document decisions, and communicate evidence-based updates. The role also bridges robotics research with engineering and product development to advance promising findings toward deployment.

Provides high-autonomy executive and office support for company founders. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting management, customer and investor coordination, travel arrangements, event and offsite planning, vendor management, recruiting logistics, office operations, follow-up tracking, and special projects. The role requires excellent judgment, organization, discretion, communication, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced robotics startup.

Owns employee relations, investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and terminations for a 200+ person, multi-site, shift-based workforce. Partners with managers and site leads, builds HR processes including performance reviews and career paths, analyzes attrition and engagement, and advises on organizational design and headcount planning. Requires strong California employment-law knowledge, sound judgment, discretion, and hands-on experience supporting hourly workers.
