Provides legal, administrative, litigation, compliance, research, records, and case-management support to a public housing authority. Prepares legal documents, coordinates court filings and hearings, tracks deadlines, maintains confidential records, researches housing and regulatory matters, supports discovery and public records requests, and liaises with attorneys, government agencies, courts, and internal departments.

Represents the Housing Authority in landlord-tenant matters, lease enforcement, collections, administrative hearings, compliance issues, and civil litigation. Provides legal advice to departments, conducts research, interprets HUD and other regulations, drafts legal documents, supports audits and investigations, delivers staff training, manages litigation records, and reports on caseloads and legal risks.

Provide intensive case management and employment support to public housing residents: screen and assess participants, develop individualized employment/self-sufficiency plans, connect clients to training and resources, conduct outreach and job placement support, maintain case records and program reporting, and collaborate with community partners.

Develop employer relationships to create jobs, internships, OJTs and apprenticeships for public-housing residents. Conduct employer outreach, assess participant employability, coordinate with NC Works and partners, track placements, and promote the program through outreach and communications.
