Lead and develop a software engineering team responsible for building scalable retail media technology. Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define priorities, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver reliable software. Promote modern engineering practices, quality standards, testing, CI/CD, scalable architecture, security, maintainability, collaboration, inclusion, and ongoing professional development.

Develop and deploy statistical models, machine learning solutions, and analytical applications for retail clients. Translate complex customer data problems into scalable, reusable insights that drive personalization, pricing, promotions, loyalty, and measurable commercial outcomes. Collaborate with client leadership and multidisciplinary teams, define new workstreams, communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences, and help develop colleagues.

Build, extend, and maintain dunnhumby’s business intelligence platform within its Data Science Platform. Integrate BI capabilities into products and internal workflows, develop reliable data and reporting solutions, and apply strong coding, testing, and development practices. The role involves SQL, database modeling, semantic layers, data visualization, BI tools, and cloud technologies across GCP and Azure, with opportunities to work on architecture, observability, and emerging AI capabilities.
