Teams at Duetti

Negotiate, execute, and close music catalog acquisition deals with artists and songwriters. Partner with A&R, underwriting, legal, finance, and leadership teams to assess opportunities, manage diligence and documentation, support investment committee reviews, and maintain a healthy deal pipeline. Build relationships with music industry stakeholders, develop rights-acquisition solutions, track deal activity in internal tools, and contribute to acquisition strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.

Reviews and processes music royalty statements, validates data, investigates inconsistencies, and transforms financial reports into standardized datasets. Builds Python automation tools, collaborates with Engineering and business teams on internal workflow improvements, monitors operational metrics, and recommends ways to improve processing speed, accuracy, and scalability. The role supports investment, research, finance, and pricing decisions while helping design scalable royalty-data processes.

Legal extern supporting Duetti’s Legal Department with music asset purchase agreements, distribution and licensing agreement reviews, legal research, copyright and compliance analysis, due diligence, documentation, and cross-functional project coordination. The role provides practical exposure to entertainment and technology law in a startup environment and requires participation through an accredited J.D. program. This is an unpaid educational externship with no employment relationship or guaranteed job offer.
