Develop and optimize CNC programs, define machining methods, tooling, fixturing, and inspection requirements, and support production launches. Troubleshoot machining issues on the shop floor, prepare manufacturing documentation and estimates, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with machinists, supervisors, quality teams, and production personnel to improve quality, productivity, cost, and delivery for precision aerospace components.

Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes for precision-machined aerospace components. Responsibilities include CNC strategy and programming, tooling and fixture design, routings, setup documentation, cost estimating, production troubleshooting, GD&T interpretation, process validation, PPAP and first article support, ERP/MRP data maintenance, and continuous improvement. The engineer collaborates with production, quality, engineering, and suppliers to support new product introduction and production launch.

Supports manufacturers by analyzing equipment performance and operational needs, recommending parts, upgrades, maintenance programs, training, and capital equipment. Develops technical proposals and quotations, manages opportunities through implementation, tracks customer activity in business systems, and partners with engineering, service, operations, and commercial teams. Builds customer relationships while identifying solutions that improve equipment reliability, productivity, and lifecycle performance.
