Lead development of scalable full-stack features across Node.js and React applications in a distributed, event-driven microservices environment. Build serverless data pipelines, asynchronous APIs, and high-volume scientific data workflows. Maintain reliable, well-tested code, improve architecture, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and support production observability, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with engineers to create intuitive interfaces for scientific research workflows.

Develop and maintain Java-based Geneious Prime software, integrate sequence-analysis algorithms, build biological data tools and cloud integrations, and contribute across frontend and backend systems. Collaborate with scientists, customers, and cross-functional agile teams to define requirements and iterate designs. Support testing, documentation, and troubleshooting while working with complex codebases and potentially CI/CD and automated testing tools.

Provides first-line IT support for global employees across Windows and macOS environments. Responsibilities include endpoint troubleshooting and deployment, identity and access management, email support, connectivity troubleshooting, onboarding and offboarding, AWS WorkSpaces administration, and Jira Service Management ticket ownership. The role supports hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and global users across multiple time zones while meeting service-level targets.
