Teams at Dotmatics

Lead architecture and evolution of distributed, event-driven data processing services for scientific workflows. Drive migration to Node.js/TypeScript and Python, design asynchronous high-volume pipelines, and improve reliability, observability, scalability, maintainability, and security. The role involves Kafka, GraphQL, REST APIs, Kubernetes, AWS, multi-store state management, automated testing, CI/CD, technical direction, cross-team leadership, and mentoring engineers.

Lead technical pre-sales engagements for Dotmatics scientific software in Japan, including product demonstrations, RFP responses, solution architecture, proof-of-concept projects, and customer training. Partner with sales, services, product, and customers to define requirements, design SaaS solutions, support integrations, and ensure successful handoffs. The role requires advanced chemistry or biochemistry expertise, scientific informatics experience, SQL and Python skills, strong communication, and travel to customer sites up to 40%.

Build and own Dotmatics Luma’s production agentic AI system, including reasoning loops, tools, memory, state persistence, security, sandboxing, recovery, evaluation, and observability. Develop supporting services and interfaces in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and React. Lead AI-native development using coding agents, improve reliability and performance, and coach others on agent-driven engineering practices.
