Conduct product safety evaluations and toxicological research for formulations and raw materials. Draft and review safety and risk assessments, perform literature searches, analyze scientific and statistical data, write technical reports, and support cross-functional coordination under limited supervision.

Batches essential oil blends, submits samples for laboratory testing, organizes lab inventory and waste operations, and tests raw-material solubility and scale-up. The intern must be enrolled in or hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, have at least one year of laboratory experience, and tolerate strong smells while working for extended periods in a laboratory.

Supports the global hazardous materials and dangerous goods compliance program. Ensures departments follow policies and regulations for air, ocean, and ground movement of materials. Maintains hazardous communication documents and MSDS records, inspects shipments, tracks incidents, responds to HazMat issues, supports training, and enforces procedures for receiving, handling, packaging, shipping, and regulatory recordkeeping.
