Litigates complex trust, estate, and conservatorship disputes in California. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting discovery and depositions, preparing for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals, developing case strategies, advising clients, negotiating with opposing counsel, managing caseloads, and mentoring junior staff. The role requires California Bar membership, substantial trust and estates litigation experience, strong knowledge of California Probate Code, courtroom advocacy skills, and hybrid work in Oakland.

Represent high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries, and charitable organizations in trust and estate matters. Draft and implement complex estate planning strategies, manage probate and trust administration, prepare litigation filings, advise clients, and handle multiple assignments. The role requires California Bar admission, strong legal writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and AI legal tools. The position begins fully in-office before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
