Lead labour relations across global operations, including collective bargaining, union negotiations, employee investigations, workforce change initiatives, and labour strategy development. Advise operational leaders on labour legislation, employment standards, human rights, health and safety, and workforce matters. Build constructive relationships with unions, employee representatives, seafarers, and internal stakeholders while ensuring collective bargaining agreements remain current and aligned with business needs.

Chief Steward aboard the Skandi Sandefjord, supporting safe and efficient offshore vessel operations while maintaining high operational standards. The role involves working collaboratively in a multicultural onboard team, supporting safety and compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement. Candidates must meet vessel, company, flag-state, and regulatory requirements, have relevant experience on similar vessels, communicate effectively, and speak a Scandinavian language. The position follows a four-week rotation and may require handover before embarkation.

Coordinates recruitment, personnel logistics, rosters, employment documentation, competency management, mobilization, visas, work permits, medicals, and training for offshore marine crews. Maintains relationships with crew, verifies qualifications and vessel-joining requirements, manages crewing data, responds to employment queries, and supports projects across Asia Pacific. Requires recent marine crewing experience in offshore oil and gas, knowledge of marine competency regulations and enterprise agreements, strong coordination skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
