Responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, WIP tracking, and absorption costing. Tracks costs for R&D and government-funded contracts, supports cost-plus arrangements, maintains audit documentation, and assists with monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, intercompany allocations, and audits. Partners with operations, engineering, and finance leadership to improve cost transparency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Coordinates logistics, shipping, inventory, warehouse activities, invoices, carriers, and customer deliveries. Provides customer support by answering calls, sharing product technical, pricing, and availability information, maintaining records, resolving shipment issues, and routing inquiries. Uses company databases and Microsoft Office to track transactions, prepare reports, and support operational efficiency. The role requires office and warehouse work, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and overtime as needed.

Processes vendor invoices, payments, expense reports, and three-way matches. Maintains vendor records, resolves discrepancies, reconciles accounts payable to the general ledger, prepares aging and payment reports, supports month-end closing, and improves AP workflows and internal controls. The role also responds to vendor inquiries and operates in an office environment with periodic exposure to manufacturing conditions.
