Teams at DMA

Supports the business development team with prospect outreach, meeting scheduling, client and industry research, lead generation, engagement tracking, sales documentation, and preparation of client materials. Collaborates with marketing and business development teams while gaining exposure to sales processes, client engagement strategies, and company services.

Supports multi-state transaction tax compliance by collecting and analyzing client data, preparing and filing tax returns, processing payments, resolving jurisdictional notices, completing reporting, reconciling bank activity, and monitoring state and local tax requirements. The role also supports amended returns, account changes, quality reviews, and client communications while managing high-volume, deadline-driven work.

Supports senior tax consultants and managers with sales and use tax overpayment reviews, audits, refund filings, tax research, invoice and return analysis, data entry, vendor follow-up, client reports, and refund claims. The intern must be pursuing an accounting, economics, finance, or related bachelor’s degree, have completed Intermediate Accounting, and travel to client locations as needed.
