Provides nursing care to residents, including medication administration, resident support, daily nursing operations, and supervision of CNAs. Collaborates with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members while supporting quality care and resident well-being. The role also includes ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Coordinates staffing schedules, shift coverage, attendance tracking, overtime monitoring, vacation requests, payroll verification, and staffing data entry for a long-term care facility. The role communicates call-ins and staffing needs, maintains accurate scheduling records in OnShift, and ensures team coverage meets organizational requirements.

Participates in a nursing home administrator residency program, developing leadership skills in facility operations, resource and budget management, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, team building, employee development, community engagement, and resident and family communication. Learns to manage departmental functions, implement policies, evaluate performance, support financial health, and improve care quality while preparing to lead a Diversicare center.
