Develop renewable energy projects, focusing on site origination, permitting, interconnection, design, budgeting, financing, and regulatory compliance. Build relationships with utilities, landowners, vendors, local governments, and communities; represent projects at public meetings and hearings; manage application materials and development milestones; and support forecasting, planning, and documentation. The role focuses on community solar and battery storage projects in New York, with frequent travel to rural project sites.

Lead origination, qualification, and closing of distributed energy projects (storage, solar, EV charging, microgrids). Develop go-to-market strategies, engage stakeholders, build client relationships, lead proposals and negotiations, track pipeline in CRM, and guide projects through the full sales and development lifecycle to meet revenue targets.

Support senior sales in developing behind-the-meter distributed energy projects by preparing proposals and presentations, managing HubSpot CRM and pipeline dashboards, coordinating customer outreach and NDAs, assisting lead generation and cross-team collaboration, researching prospects, and tracking opportunity documentation. Up to 30% travel.
