Supports a medical device R&D team through engineering change orders, technical writing, quality management system documentation, form completion, and process compliance. The role is primarily paperwork-focused, requiring the engineer to explain and advocate for engineering changes while providing limited electrical engineering support. Responsibilities include following team procedures and using Microsoft Office, LTspice, PCB layout tools, and Altium.

Leads mechanical design and product development projects from concept through launch, including CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, strength calculations, prototyping, testing, validation, documentation, and design reviews. Collaborates with electrical, manufacturing, customers, vendors, and certified labs. Provides technical leadership, estimates project work, supports proposals, improves engineering processes, and mentors entry-level engineers. The role requires expertise in FMEA, DVP&R, materials, manufacturing processes, and customer-facing technical communication.

Designs automation, industrial, and new product equipment for customer projects. Responsibilities include conceptual design, prototyping, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, design reviews, technical leadership, project estimation, customer and vendor collaboration, proposal support, process improvement, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires mechanical engineering expertise, CAD proficiency, strong communication, problem-solving, and occasional travel to customer sites.
