Owns timelines, deliverables, configuration control, budgets, resources, risks, procurement, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communications for space and ground-based optical projects. Partners with systems engineering and supply chain teams to deliver complex hardware and mission systems on schedule and within budget. Coordinates field deployments, monitors risk mitigation, facilitates status meetings, and supports project execution across the product lifecycle. Occasional travel is required.

Supports spacecraft hardware and software integration testing in an on-site lab. Responsibilities include preparing test setups, executing procedures, recording results, processing test data with Python, maintaining documentation and traceability, building and checking cables and fixtures, and supporting instrument readiness. The intern will also develop data-handling scripts and assist with test reports, hardware bring-up, soldering, and lab operations under engineer supervision.

Maintains an electronics integration and test lab by managing equipment inventory, configuration records, calibration schedules, vendor commitments, consumables, ESD and cleanroom controls, and hardware logistics. The role also supports purchasing, shipping, receiving, documentation, and quality records while ensuring equipment remains properly calibrated, tracked, and available for testing.
