Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for supporting capital expansion, equipment startup, and introduction of a major production asset. The role serves as a technical liaison between project teams and plant operations, then assumes ownership of the process after startup. Responsibilities include process optimization, troubleshooting, process control architecture and tuning, and ensuring performance, quality, safety, and cost targets. The role requires travel to other manufacturing plants during the first six months for the Winder, Georgia site.

Design and develop electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications, including schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials, integration, verification, troubleshooting, and testing. Create test requirements and plans, ensure requirements traceability, support project planning and design reviews, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout product development.

Leads the design, development, testing, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of fiber optic, laser, and electro-optic technologies for aerospace and defense applications. Creates technical documentation, test procedures, and manufacturing processes; applies optical design expertise using Zemax; and supports compliance with laser, fiber optic, and optical manufacturing standards. Must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance and access export-controlled information.
