Staff Accountant responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close, AP coding, expense review, financial reporting support, and Costpoint accounting. Applies GAAP, FAR Part 31, and Cost Accounting Standards to ensure compliant cost allocation and documentation. Supports audits, incurred cost submissions, internal controls, Costpoint testing, and process improvements while collaborating with Procurement, Payroll, Program Finance, and Contracts.

Leads enterprise FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow modeling, treasury support, executive reporting, KPI development, and strategic financial analysis. Partners with business leaders on performance management, M&A due diligence, pricing, capital allocation, and operational decisions. Applies FAR, DFARS, government-contracting cost principles, indirect-rate structures, and DCAA audit requirements within a defense environment. Builds scalable processes, improves reporting automation, and mentors finance professionals.

Lead end-to-end systems engineering for mission-critical defense hardware and software solutions. Responsibilities include architecture and roadmap guidance, requirements and interface documentation, design and technical reviews, hardware-software integration, test strategy and validation, configuration management, field deployment, training, demonstrations, customer engagement, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration and domestic or international travel to customer sites.
