Manage daily HR operations including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, compliance, leave administration (FMLA/ADA/workers' comp), training, HR reporting, employee relations, payroll backup, and employee recognition programs to support a positive workplace.

Lead strategic direction and management of a multidisciplinary desert research program. Oversee research strategy, funding, partnerships, compliance, translation of science to policy and public engagement, and supervise a team of 20+ staff to advance biodiversity, climate adaptation, water resilience, and threatened-plant conservation.
