Teams at Descript

Own GTM and growth financial models, sales-led revenue forecasting, ARR and retention analysis, dashboards, scenario modeling, and efficiency metrics. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Growth, Data, and leadership teams to improve goal setting, pricing, monetization, and capital allocation. Translate complex SaaS data into actionable recommendations and executive or board materials.

Lead the evolution of Descript’s brand across campaigns, web experiences, and events. Develop scalable brand systems and toolkits, lead launch and campaign design from concept through delivery, and enable internal partners to create on-brand assets. Use AI tools thoughtfully, direct external creative partners, mentor designers, and uphold a high standard of strategic and visual craft.

Lead the Narrative Editing product team and own Descript’s script-based editing, recording, writing, AI regeneration, script generation, speaker identification, and translation experiences. Develop customer insights, define the editor roadmap, partner with AI Research, improve intuitive workflows, and ensure the product scales for larger teams and complex use cases. The role requires strong product judgment, customer discovery skills, systems thinking, and experience shipping creative or workflow tools.
