Own customer-facing product features end to end, from problem definition and design through implementation, launch, measurement, and maintenance. Build reliable full-stack systems across video editing, growth and monetization, media management, or AI products. Partner with Product and Design, run experiments, analyze metrics, improve engineering practices, and provide architectural guidance, reviews, and mentoring.

Own the full B2B sales cycle for Descript’s video and AI solutions, including prospecting, outbound pipeline generation, product demonstrations, complex deal negotiations, closing, and expansion. Build executive relationships with enterprise customers, collaborate with Product and Marketing, attend industry events and customer meetings, and help shape the company’s sales strategy and playbook.

Conduct applied research in generative video and audio synthesis, voice and roomtone cloning, multimodal understanding, computer vision, and speech modeling. Design, implement, test, and evaluate deep learning algorithms, develop new research directions, and help move prototypes into production features. The role requires end-to-end ownership, strong experimental judgment, and the ability to generate and rapidly evaluate machine learning ideas.
