Supervises laboratory and monitoring personnel supporting industrial pretreatment and NPDES programs. Oversees wastewater plant operations, regulatory compliance, laboratory procedures, data analysis, equipment inspections, operator training, safety meetings, chemical inventory, equipment calibration, documentation, and performance evaluations. Coordinates with engineers, vendors, and management to improve plant efficiency and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements.

Supervises staff and coordinates monitoring of pawn shops and precious metal dealers for compliance with local and state ordinances. Reviews transaction reports and shop records, conducts inspections with detectives, identifies violations, investigates stolen property and firearms, runs criminal histories, places holds, and prepares investigative materials. Maintains databases and documentation, analyzes crime and administrative data, prepares reports, communicates with dealers and investigators, and presents evidence in court when necessary.

Performs government accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, tax forms, audits, fixed asset management, budgeting support, and financial analysis. Provides accounting assistance to vendors, customers, taxpayers, and county personnel; researches discrepancies, maintains records, prepares regulatory reports, and supports special projects and mandated reporting.
