Evaluate and process latent fingerprints using chemical and mechanical methods, compare prints for identification, prepare reports and photographic exhibits, present expert court testimony, instruct law enforcement on collection/preservation, and maintain required certifications and credentials.

Processes and documents crime scenes, identifies and collects physical evidence, performs photography and latent print development, maintains chain-of-custody, submits evidence to labs, prepares reports, and testifies in court. Operates forensic and lab equipment and attends trainings to stay current with procedures and legal requirements.

Manages staff and daily operations for assigned library functions and multiple branches. Oversees supervision, scheduling, budgets, collection development, circulation systems, outreach, training, policy enforcement, facilities, grants, and community engagement to ensure effective public service delivery.
