Own the robot’s industrial design from concept through production, including form, materials, finishes, and color. Build the company’s visual brand, design system, marketing assets, website, trade show presence, and demo videos. Design operator-facing UX for robot monitoring and control, collaborate closely with engineering teams, and establish design workflows and future team structure. The role requires having shipped a physical product into medium-to-high volume production.

Design and implement real-time control and motion systems for bimanual wheeled robots. Responsibilities include supervisory control, trajectory blending, inverse kinematics, sensor fusion, actuator integration, motor control, gain tuning, and safety-limit implementation. The role involves deploying code to physical hardware, debugging production issues, and improving robot localization, manipulation, and autonomous-to-teleoperated transitions.

Develop and maintain robotics software infrastructure, sensor and device drivers, safety systems, testing frameworks, observability tools, and fleet-management capabilities. Improve reliability and performance across Linux-based robotics systems through diagnostics, monitoring, telemetry, staged rollouts, and rollback mechanisms. Collaborate with hardware interfaces and embedded environments to support safe, reliable robot operation.
