Design and implement high-performance distributed Rust systems for autonomous, human-machine-AI teaming in constrained and contested environments. Responsibilities include architecture, hardware and microcontroller integration, networking, deterministic build infrastructure, OTA updates, simulation and field testing, performance optimization, and deployment of reliable edge systems. The role supports mission-critical defense applications and requires collaboration across engineering, research, and operational teams.

Lead RMF/FedRAMP/ATO accreditation efforts for DoD systems; develop and implement security policies and controls; perform risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and STIG/ACAS-based testing; produce SSPs/SARs and compliance artifacts; integrate security into SDLC and support compliance-as-code and continuous monitoring.

The Platform Engineer SkillBridge intern will support the development and deployment of cybersecurity applications in a Kubernetes environment, contributing to product strategy and innovation while guiding junior engineers.
