The role also involves client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, tax research, and identifying risks and opportunities under applicable tax laws.

Leads complex tax engagements, prepares and reviews Puerto Rico corporate, partnership, and individual returns, develops Act 60 and other incentive strategies, prepares ASC 740 tax provisions, oversees regulatory filings, conducts tax research, and advises clients on compliance, risks, and opportunities. The role also manages client relationships, expectations, and collaboration across legal, compliance, and finance teams.

Own DECA Analytics’ marketing strategy, brand voice, content calendar, SEO/GEO efforts, reputation management, client storytelling, vendor coordination, lead generation, and KPI reporting. The role develops thought leadership and client content, manages contractors, oversees digital performance tracking, and builds DECA’s authority in Puerto Rico tax incentives, compliance, grants, and capital markets.
