Owns end-to-end contract manufacturing projects from technology transfer through final product delivery. Coordinates R&D, sales, quality, account management, brand customers, and external manufacturing partners. Responsibilities include production pricing, BOM control, scale-up, process validation, scheduling, quality documentation, logistics, risk mitigation, customer updates, and finished-goods release. The role requires beauty formulation and manufacturing knowledge, strong organization, and proficiency with project management and office software.

Designs and executes in vitro cell-based assays for skincare ingredient discovery, maintains mammalian cell banks, performs ELISA/flow cytometry/qPCR and high-throughput sample workflows, analyzes and records data in electronic lab notebooks, and contributes to assay development and validation.

Lead downstream purification strategy and execution for fermentation-derived small molecules, guiding lab-to-commercial scale-up. Provide hands-on expertise across centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, extraction, crystallization and drying. Manage CDMO/CMO relationships and tech transfers, oversee equipment specification and procurement, ensure quality/regulatory alignment, mentor a downstream team, and track KPIs for yield, purity, scalability and cost.

Lead development and scale-up of downstream purification for fermentation-derived small molecules. Own DSP strategy, hands-on unit operations, CDMO/CMO relationships, tech transfer, equipment specification, team leadership, and cross-functional alignment to ensure robust, cost-effective manufacturing.
