Teams at DBR Engineering

Design electrical power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, receptacles, and equipment circuiting. Apply NEC, IECC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and IBC requirements; calculate electrical services, conductor sizing, derating, and AIC ratings. Review construction submittals and respond to contractor questions while collaborating with project teams.

Assists mechanical engineers with building code research, HVAC load calculations, ductwork and piping sizing, mechanical construction drawings, equipment selection, and design document reviews. The intern communicates with project teams, supports design completion, and participates in at least one project site visit. The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.

Manage project profitability and successful execution from proposal through post-construction. Provide engineering oversight, coordinate disciplines, prepare estimates and schedules, ensure code compliance, maintain client relationships, support business development, supervise and train design staff, manage contracts, billing, and project documentation.
