Teams at DBR Engineering

Provide administrative support to project management staff: manage proposals, project setups, document/CAD handling, scheduling, travel and expense processing, office events, reception backup, and maintain confidential records and office supplies.

Design electrical power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, receptacles, and equipment circuiting. Apply NEC, IECC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and IBC requirements; calculate electrical services, conductor sizing, derating, and AIC ratings. Review construction submittals and respond to contractor questions while collaborating with project teams.

Assists mechanical engineers with building code research, HVAC load calculations, ductwork and piping sizing, mechanical construction drawings, equipment selection, and design document reviews. The intern communicates with project teams, supports design completion, and participates in at least one project site visit. The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
