Teams at Davis Machine

Leads aerospace manufacturing planning from quoting through production release. Reviews drawings, 3D models, specifications, GD&T, and flowdowns; develops machining plans; reviews setup and traveler documentation; manages release gates and process changes; supports Operations with technical issue resolution; coordinates customer engineering meetings; and prepares nonconformance dispositions. Requires hands-on knowledge of multi-axis machining, workholding, cutting tools, AS9100 processes, and machined aerospace components.

Plans and defines inspection operations, performs manual and visual inspections, documents First Article Inspections, verifies supplier certifications, and accepts products against customer and engineering requirements. The role interprets drawings and GD&T, collects statistical data, communicates inspection results to engineering and customers, and supports process improvement in an aerospace precision machining environment.

Manage day-to-day HR operations for an onsite aerospace manufacturing company, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, investigations, performance management, benefits, payroll support, HRIS administration, compliance, training, and organizational development. Partner with leadership and supervisors to strengthen people practices, employee engagement, retention, accountability, and workforce effectiveness.
