The faculty member will teach introductory and advanced undergraduate courses spanning pre-modern through modern periods, conduct scholarly research, and contribute to the college’s Writing or Humanities Program. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching and research, training in Arabic language and sources, and commitment to inclusive pedagogy and academic integrity.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Sociology specializing in Urban Sociology. Teach undergraduate courses (including at least two in theory, methods, or statistics), develop new interdisciplinary courses, maintain an active research program, and mentor students. Operate and manage live and studio audio recording, mixing, editing, and archival for the Music Department; run soundboards for performances; manage Tyler-Tallman Hall operations and technical issues; maintain labs and studios, coordinate hardware/software purchases and upgrades, train and supervise work-study students, and support faculty and students with audio technologies and emergency livestream/recording needs.
