The Commercial Legal Director will lead complex technology and commercial transactions, negotiate SaaS, licensing, partnership, marketing, and services agreements, and develop scalable legal contracting standards. The role advises teams on AI, intellectual property, privacy, security, and regulatory issues; improves contracting workflows using Ironclad and AI-enabled tools; and partners with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, finance, marketing, and people operations.

Serve as a senior legal advisor to Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams. Advise on consumer financial products, banking, lending, payments, licensing, partnerships, and evolving regulatory requirements. Negotiate commercial agreements, oversee complex matters involving BaaS, NACHA, BSA/AML, fraud, privacy, and servicing, and translate regulatory developments into practical business guidance. Build scalable legal processes and improve workflow efficiency through technology, AI, and outside counsel.

Build and QA complex Braze lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels. Validate branching logic, personalization, triggers, audience data, and campaign feeds; troubleshoot live issues; maintain documentation and QA controls; coordinate with lifecycle, creative, data, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to ensure accurate, compliant member communications.
