Teams at Data Ideology

Leads the design, development, optimization, and migration of modern data platforms in Snowflake. Builds pipelines with dbt, Python, and cloud services; gathers client requirements; creates solution designs and project plans; advises on Snowflake performance, cost, security, and workload management; integrates BI, governance, and AI/ML tools; contributes to accelerators and mentors junior engineers. The role is remote, client-facing, consultative, and focused primarily on technical delivery rather than sales.

Designs and implements production-ready data models, data warehouses, pipelines, and ETL processes. Translates business requirements into actionable data architecture plans, applies dimensional and tabular modeling patterns, and establishes database and ETL best practices. Collaborates with business and technical teams throughout the data analytics lifecycle, works across SDLC environments, directs ETL development, and optimizes scheduling and performance using cloud platforms, Google BigQuery, SQL, and Power BI.

The Technical Business Analyst will facilitate workshops, document requirements, manage project scope, and produce clear artifacts for client deliverables across data platform workstreams.
