Manages material handling automation projects involving conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, structures, controls, software, and related equipment. Responsibilities include project planning and execution, financial and resource management, customer and supplier relationships, contract administration, project documentation, status reporting, and coordination across multiple locations. The role requires knowledge of warehouse and fulfillment operations, automation projects, software development lifecycle concepts, accounting, and contracts. Travel up to 50% and weekend or evening work during go-live events are required.

Designs, programs, troubleshoots, commissions, and supports electrical and PLC-based control systems for airport baggage handling and security systems. Responsibilities include control panel and wiring design, PLC software development, system testing, customer design reviews, technical estimating, project scheduling, and coordination with other engineering disciplines. The role also manages controls engineers, supports installations at airport sites, and may require travel, extended hours, weekends, and off-shift commissioning work.

Responds to and corrects baggage handling system faults, assists with clearing baggage jams, and supports technicians with basic maintenance such as cleaning, sweeping, and greasing. Follows company safety programs, completes required training, and works flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. The role requires airport access credentials, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to work around machinery, noise, dust, and changing temperatures.
