Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Benefits Overview

Leads a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapter by advancing strategic, fundraising, financial, and programmatic goals. Oversees revenue, budgets, forecasting, performance measurement, staff leadership, donor development, major gifts, volunteer engagement, corporate sponsorships, and community partnerships. Builds relationships with CF families, care centers, donors, and volunteers while ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance. Reports to the Area Director and manages chapter staff.

Supports the Executive Director in leading a Tier 1 nonprofit chapter, including revenue planning, budgeting, fundraising campaigns, events, donor and corporate sponsor relationships, volunteer recruitment, staff hiring and supervision, operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial tracking. Represents the organization at events and builds relationships with CF families, care professionals, volunteers, donors, and community partners. Requires occasional evening and weekend work, reliable transportation, and travel to meetings or events.

Leads clinical research data projects using CF Patient Registry and other sources. Designs studies, complex queries, statistical analyses, reports, and data-quality evaluations; collaborates with investigators, registry stakeholders, and industry partners on regulatory studies. Supports data harmonization, registry development, conference submissions, manuscripts, and communication of findings to technical and lay audiences. The hybrid role requires 2–3 days weekly in Bethesda, Maryland, with minimal travel.
