Provides direct and indirect patient care in primary care clinics, including medication administration, diagnostic testing, patient education, triage, documentation, care coordination, and scheduling. Collaborates with physicians, LPNs, CMAs, and interdisciplinary staff while supporting complex patient needs, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality care. The role also requires clinical leadership, effective communication, confidentiality, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Process accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for patient accounts across third-party payers. Verify insurance information, file documents, maintain billed and unbilled accounts, troubleshoot claim edits and rejections, and follow rural health and CAH Method II billing regulations. Collaborate with revenue cycle staff and other departments to improve account accuracy and develop solutions. The role may include rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Provides direct, evidence-based care to critically ill ICU patients. Conducts assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans, communicates changes to physicians, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports patient advocacy and team cohesion. Requires critical thinking, adaptability, leadership, and ongoing professional development in a high-acuity environment.
