Teams at Current Lighting

Develops and maintains manufacturing processes, routers, BOMs, work instructions, tooling, and production documentation for engineered lighting products. Partners with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve quality, safety, cost, cycle time, capacity, and material flow. Designs fixtures and tooling using AutoCAD and Solid Edge, supports prototypes and new product introductions, applies Lean and time-study methods, prepares capital equipment justifications, and trains employees on processes and procedures.

Develop reliable embedded firmware for IoT-connected lighting and automation systems using microcontrollers, sensors, analog and digital interfaces, real-time systems, communication protocols, wireless technologies, and messaging protocols. Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams throughout the firmware lifecycle, support products through manufacturing, define system requirements, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to intellectual property protection.

Develop and expand cloud-connected IoT lighting controls and building management applications using C#.NET and Angular. Responsibilities include full software development lifecycle participation, web and backend development, requirements definition, architecture, collaboration with cross-functional teams, cloud deployment, technology research, and development of reliable software components and services.
