Develops physics-based modeling and simulation tools for aerospace and weapon system design, including GNC, trajectory, and performance analysis. Performs engineering trade studies, develops missile and aerospace technology concepts, presents technical findings, and supports delivery scheduling and program management. Requires independent execution of technical assignments and collaboration with technical leads, management, and customers.

Leads mechanical engineering design for advanced high-speed flight vehicles, including mechanical drawings, structural and thermal analysis, system requirements, design reviews, hardware integration, manufacturing support, and technical leadership. Collaborates with program, customer, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop and validate hardware solutions. Requires extensive aerospace mechanical engineering experience, CAD proficiency, analysis expertise, and Secret clearance.

Develop and manage system requirements, architectures, CONOPS, simulations, and test plans. Perform software and system integration, verification, validation, sensor tracking, data analysis, and root-cause investigations. Collaborate with software, test, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle, maintain simulation and test tools, document procedures and results, and support tactical capability development and on-site integration activities.

Develops guidance, navigation, and control models, algorithms, simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop test capabilities for hypersonic and missile systems. Performs GNC trade studies, performance assessments, technical documentation, customer presentations, and technical product leadership. Supports program meetings, reviews, scheduling, reporting, and related program management activities.

Develop mechanical designs and drawings for aerospace systems, perform structural analyses, support manufacturing and hardware integration, and collaborate with engineering teams and customers. The role also develops system requirements, design-review materials, trade studies, and engineering products while supporting program meetings and customer requirements.
