The Quality Manager leads site quality, food safety, hygiene, and legal compliance for food manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include managing QA and hygiene teams, overseeing HACCP, conducting internal audits, handling customer complaints and non-conformances, supporting external audits and customer visits, maintaining quality systems, driving root-cause corrective actions, and delivering staff training. The role also collaborates with customers and central technical teams on improvements, new products, allergen management, pest control, and hygiene standards.

Supports fleet and operational finance through profit and loss reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, asset lifecycle management, business cases, audit support, and financial governance. The role partners with operational and senior leadership teams to communicate performance insights, improve profitability, and drive continuous improvements in reporting and management information.

Provides administrative support for transport operations, including booking customer collections and deliveries, managing inbound schedules, processing paperwork, monitoring proof-of-delivery workflows, investigating collection queries, chasing outstanding documentation, maintaining spreadsheets, and liaising with depots, hauliers, and external contacts. The role requires accurate data management, strong organization, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
