Supervise daily transport depot operations, lead and coach staff, administer vehicle and trailer maintenance, complete depot checks, monitor driver performance, support payroll and KPI reporting, maintain personnel records, coordinate recruitment and training, assist with accident investigations, and complete yard and office risk assessments.

Manage day-to-day accounting functions, prepare monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations, forecasts, budgets, reporting packs, and audit support. Investigate variances, oversee fixed assets and leases, identify revenue opportunities, improve procedures, and mentor finance team members while meeting reporting deadlines.

Manages 24/7 depot transport operations, supervises and develops transport staff, coordinates fleet availability and maintenance, controls budgets and suppliers, ensures compliance with driving regulations, and supports customer service improvements. The role monitors transport KPIs, maintenance and fuel costs, vehicle servicing, safety, and carbon reduction initiatives, while deputising for the Transport Manager when required.
