The role monitors transport KPIs, maintenance and fuel costs, vehicle servicing, safety, and carbon reduction initiatives, while deputising for the Transport Manager when required.

Plans daily transport operations across multiple UK warehouses and manufacturing sites, including fleet workloads, subcontracting, driver shift debriefs, compliance administration, and customer reporting. Handles operational queries, coordinates with traffic and administration teams, supports driver training, maintains spreadsheets and databases, and resolves issues under pressure. The role requires strong transport planning expertise, analytical and organizational skills, effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to make timely decisions.
