Teams at C&S Wholesale Grocers

Supports warehouse safety programs, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, EHS walks, safety audits, and injury prevention initiatives. Assists with operational tasks, reports, presentations, meetings, process improvements, and department tools. Uses Benchmark Gensuite and Microsoft Excel while collaborating with warehouse operations, training, and human resources teams. Completes special projects and an end-of-internship presentation during a paid 12-week summer internship.

Leads and develops perishable sales specialists while advising independent retailers on merchandising, product selection, category growth, profitability, promotions, and new programs across meat, deli, bakery, and produce. Conducts store visits, provides training, manages retailer relationships, supports forecasting and procurement coordination, negotiates programs, and monitors competitive activity. Requires extensive retail and wholesale perishables experience, supermarket financial knowledge, communication and presentation skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and food safety certification or eligibility.

Leads damage and recoup operations, processes at-risk products for return to inventory, supervises up to 10 associates, conducts start-up meetings, trains staff, provides feedback, ensures safety and quality standards, and performs root-cause investigations using the EXE system.
