Leads daily operations, financial management, HR, technology, vendors, facilities, compliance, and business continuity for a multi-office CPA firm. Oversees budgeting, forecasting, payroll, billing, collections, cash flow, reporting, process automation, and strategic growth initiatives while partnering with firm leadership to improve efficiency, service quality, and workplace culture.

Leads governmental and nonprofit audit engagements, performs audit procedures, prepares financial statements and documentation, applies GAAP, GAAS, and GASB standards, researches accounting guidance, communicates issues to leadership, manages client relationships, and mentors audit staff. The role requires public accounting experience, governmental financial statement expertise, and frequent client-site work in the Bradenton/Sarasota area despite being remote.

Lead external audit engagements for governmental and nonprofit clients, perform audit procedures, prepare financial statements and documentation, apply GAAP, GAAS, and GASB standards, research accounting regulations, communicate findings, and mentor audit staff. The role also involves client relationship management, scheduling, training, and administrative support. This is a remote Florida-based position with frequent local client-site work and 40–50% of the year spent onsite.
