Teams at Crossroads YMCA

Provides administrative, human resources, and branch operations support for YMCA leadership. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, onboarding and offboarding, maintaining confidential employee records, assisting with payroll and benefits documentation, responding to HR questions, supporting employee engagement, documenting workplace concerns, and helping ensure policy and employment law compliance. The role requires strong organization, communication, confidentiality, adaptability, and a people-first approach.

Leads YMCA membership operations and the Member Relations team, including recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Develops membership recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies; oversees tours, member service, CRM usage, budgets, payroll, and performance metrics. Resolves member concerns, supports events and community outreach, and collaborates across departments to deliver an inclusive, high-quality member experience.

Manages employee relations and partners with operational leaders across multiple YMCA locations. Provides coaching throughout the employee lifecycle, supports investigations, performance management, corrective action, and separations, and ensures fair, consistent policy application. Identifies employment-law and workplace risks, builds leadership capability, supports workforce planning and culture initiatives, and improves employee experience. The role requires sound judgment, discretion, collaboration, adaptability, and travel within the service area.
