Provides direct nursing care to behavioral health clients according to physicians’ orders and scope of practice. Supervises non-licensed personnel, supports unit operations, and contributes to clients’ recovery journeys. Requires California LVN or LPT licensure, nursing knowledge, supervisory ability, teamwork, and current CPR and first aid certifications. Mental health nursing experience is preferred.

Provides direct peer support to individuals recovering from mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions. Uses personal recovery experience, specialized training, and behavioral intervention techniques to guide clients toward wellness, resilience, empowerment, community support, and psychiatric stabilization.
