Manages customer orders, production schedules, inventory, materials, labor, and equipment coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective manufacturing. Communicates with customers, sales, operations, suppliers, and management; resolves production issues; evaluates demand changes; provides status reports; and recommends cost and process improvements.

The Plant Controller leads plant finance, controllership, and FP&A activities, including financial reporting, GAAP compliance, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and capital investment analysis. The role partners with plant and corporate leadership, presents financial recommendations, drives cost reduction and margin improvement, supports audits and system implementations, and mentors finance staff in a manufacturing environment.

Leads end-to-end supply chain strategy across multiple manufacturing sites, overseeing procurement, category management, materials planning, supplier quality, logistics, and risk mitigation. Establishes sourcing strategies, negotiates supplier contracts, drives cost reduction, manages supplier performance, and optimizes inventory and freight. Leads distributed teams, standardizes processes and reporting, supports S&OP and new program launches, and partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance. The role is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, with regular travel to manufacturing facilities and supplier sites.

Manage manufacturing operations and support functions to achieve quality, output, safety, delivery, and cost targets. Develop capacity and production plans, lead supervisors and personnel, drive lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, safety, quality, labor planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor KPIs, reduce costs, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand and operational objectives.

Develop and maintain short- and medium-range production schedules in Oracle EBS, release and adjust work orders, coordinate materials and purchasing, lead daily floor direction in absence of supervisors, communicate with sales/operations on delivery status, enforce safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement to improve on-time delivery and inventory turns.

Act as the on-site liaison between Crenlo and OEM customers to build relationships, resolve technical and quality issues, interpret manufacturing prints and GD&T, lead root cause analysis (8D), verify corrective actions, support audits and new program launches, and temporarily oversee labor at plant sites. Frequent travel to customer and manufacturing locations required.

Drive standard cost system oversight, margin and variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Maintain ERP cost accounting, partner with operations and IT, lead cost-reduction initiatives, and support audits to improve manufacturing financial performance.

Support and improve production off-highway cab products by implementing engineering changes, creating/modifying 3D models and 2D drawings, maintaining BOMs, resolving production issues, executing 8D corrective actions, and collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Global Engineering to optimize manufacturability, cost, and product safety.
