Develops, qualifies, and optimizes thin-film processes for an automated silicon carbide wafer fab. Responsibilities include designing DoE experiments, analyzing process data, improving yield and quality, identifying potential failures, supporting new technology introductions, and presenting technical updates. The role collaborates with Product Engineering, R&D, manufacturing sites, and vendors, with occasional travel required.

Develops and improves GaN epitaxial crystal growth processes for power and RF devices. The role interprets characterization results, analyzes parametric data, troubleshoots processes, manages R&D projects, and communicates findings to R&D and production teams. Candidates need advanced education and industrial R&D experience in materials, chemical, electrical engineering, ceramics, or physical science, plus knowledge of wide-band-gap materials, vacuum technology, device physics, and statistical analysis.

Install, configure, maintain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, tool fingerprinting, and continuous improvement projects; develop maintenance procedures, specifications, configuration documentation, and acceptance standards. Partner with process engineering and production teams to improve equipment availability, quality, scrap, rework, and costs. Support equipment selection for capacity expansions and process transfers, and present technical data and project updates.
